DRUMS - James McCaffrey

James McCaffrey, originally from the NSW Central Coast, has been living in Sydney since March 2000. James began playing drums at the age of 17. He initially received tuition from Christian McBride for 2 years on the Central Coast, and then went on to study for a further 6 years with Milan Troha at 'Billy Hydes' in Sydney. James is currently in 2nd year of a BMus (jazz performance) degree at Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the instruction of Andrew Dickeson. James has performed with amateur Concert Bands and Big Bands, as well as some small jazz ensembles. During his time in Sydney, James has worked with several covers bands, performing various styles such as pop, rock and country.

BASS - Lindsay Beach
Born and raised on the northern beaches of Sydney, Lindsay is a talented and dedicated young musician. Currently in his second year of a Bachelor of Music (Jazz Studies) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, he has already played and studied with some of Australia's top musicians, gaining a reputation as solid and innovative electric bass player able to adapt to a wide range of musical styles. His influences include, Paul Chambers, Scott Lafaro, Anthony Cox through to Marcus Miller and Jaco Pastorius, also his teachers, Craig Scott and Judy Bailey. Already he has played with the likes of James Muller, played in pit orchestras for various musicals including a season at the Theatre Royal in Sydney, various rock projects both originals and covers and with hip hop and groove bands. He frequently plays private and public functions and restaurants with some of Sydney's finest jazz talent and is kept busy with his many students whom he teaches. He has now begun to branch out onto the upright bass and continues to pursue new musical challenges with a focus on jazz and improvised music.
